After the release of the RM 025 Tourbillon Chronograph, Richard Mille presented a new automatic diver’s watch in 2010. The RM 028 is not only an extremely charismatic piece, it is also a proper technical watch with no compromise made on all technical aspects. Whilst it has a generous diameter of 47mm, the comfort on the wrist is optimised by its curved back. Following the RM 025, the RM 028 uses a number of key elements that demarcate the theme of diving within the collection.
Compliant with diver’s watch ISO norm 6425, including a water resistance of 300 metres and a unidirectional bezel, the exceptional water resistance is achieved through a three-part case construction and torque screws, with a complete integration of the lugs into the case system. The RM 028 has been an immediate success since its introduction.
